Our Senior Portrait session can be done in your house, outdoors, specific location, we our limited only to the imagination. If you can't think of it we will. You provide the subject, we will provide the results.
Your Senior portrait means something special. So why use a cookie cutter background. We encourage utilizing backgrounds that add that special touch to your special portraits.
INGREDIENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SENIOR PICTURE SHOOT
It's always best to prepare a list of shots or poses that you want. This easy preparation streamlines the shoot and gives the photographer an idea of your expectations.
WHAT TO WEAR...AND BRING!!
FIRST AND FOREMOST...Get to the studio about 15 minutes early. This gives you time to relax, cool down, get set, and check hair and/or makeup.
Simple garments always photograph the best
Turtle necks or V-necks are flattering provided that neither is exaggerated in style
Long sleeves are essential. Bare arms call attention to them and will overpower your face.
Since some shots may be full length, plan your outfits from head to toe...this includes shoes!!
Day old haircuts..too new. Hair cuts and perms look best after about a week, so plan accordingly.
Avoid fad styles or bold patterns...we want the attention to be on you.
If you're doing a buddy shot, coordinate your style and color with your buddy.
Hands and nails will be in some portraits...spend some time grooming them.
It's best to bring your clothes on hangers...you want your clothes unwrinkled.
Tans are nice...Sunburns aren't...Watch tan lines, wristwatch tan lines, straplines on shoulders, even sunglass, sock and hat tan lines.
Don't be afraid to bring props...they help define who you are. A class ring, a cheerleading or sport uniform, lettermans jacket, instrument, basketball, football, baseball glove or bat, dance leotard, shoes, fresh flowers, or even your favorite teddybear or pet...whatever!!!! (Just let us know in advance if your favorite pet is a Shetland Pony). Bring something that captures your personality.
Doing an outdoor sitting? Casual outfits in earth tones work best.
We've got a stereo system, so bring your cd's or mp3 player to make your shoot fun!!
Check to see how many outfits your session includes.
